Article 2 The education system includes:

1) kindergartens, including kindergartens with integration classes, special kindergartens, and other forms of pre-school education;

2) schools:

a) primary schools, including: special, integration, with integration classes and sports classes, sports schools and schools of sports mastery,      

b) lower secondary schools called gymnasium (gimnazjum), including: special, integration, bilingual, with integration classes, with bilingual classes, with sports classes and with preparing for work, sports schools and schools of sports mastery,

c) post-lower secondary schools, including: special, integration, bilingual, with integration classes, with bilingual classes, with sports classes, sports schools and schools of sports mastery, agricultural and forestry schools,

d) artistic schools;

3) educational and education institutions, including school youth hostels which enable developing interests and aptitudes, and the use of various forms of recreation and leisure time organization;

3a) institutions of continuing education, institutions of practical education as well as training centres and in-service training, which enable to get and supplement the general knowledge, skills and professional qualifications;

3b) artistic institutions - artistic centres which enable to develop interests and artistic talents;

4) psychological and pedagogical support centres, including specialized support centres which provide children, adolescents, parents and teachers with psychological and pedagogical help, as well as help students to choose the direction of education and occupation;

5) education youth centres, youth centres of the sociotherapy, special school-education centres, and special education centres for children and young people requiring applying the special organization of the learning, methods of the work and the upbringing, as well as centres enabling children and young people referred to in article 16 section 7, as well as children and young people with the mental handicap with coupled disabilities to realization of appropriately duty referred to in article 14 section 3, the school duty and the duty of learning;

6) (repealed);

7) institutions providing care and education for pupils who benefit from the education outside the place of residence;

8) (repealed);

9) establishments of education and teacher training institutions;

10) pedagogical libraries;

11) colleges of social work.
